Are you ready to thrive in diverse work environments? If you want to deepen your understanding of complex human interactions in multicultural contexts, this program is perfect for you. Taught entirely in English, it combines cultural studies with communication and management skills, giving you top-notch intercultural competence.

You’ll learn how to apply insights into human communication and interaction in various environments, including digital spaces. This approach, grounded in the triple bottom line philosophy, creates a holistic and practical learning experience.

One of the strengths of this study program is the inclusion of highly interactive seminars. You don’t have to be physically present in Hamburg to join the discussions held in our online seminars, webinars, and online tutorials.  

We invite experienced cultural and business experts to moderate discussions on current and critical topics, giving you hands-on experience in dealing with real workplace situations. We are committed to providing significant contact with professionals who understand global issues and can answer questions, offer insights, and share their own experiences with international challenges.

Our International Seminar is an exceptional opportunity for you to experience different worldviews first-hand and understand their impact on everyday life.

Entrance Requirements

Academic Requirements

1. Entrance with a first academic degree with 180 Credits
You have earned a first degree with 180 Credits from a state or state-accredited university that includes a focus on any aspect of business and

  • at least one year of relevant* work experience since completing your bachelor degree OR
  • at least one year of qualified** work experience since completing your bachelor degree and 30 Credits by further university training or Bridging Term.

2. Entrance with a first academic degree with 210 Credits
You have earned a first degree with 210 Credits from a state or state-accredited university that includes a focus on any aspect of business and at least one year of relevant* work experience since completing your bachelor degree.

Notice for 1. and 2.: Any applicants with a first degree focus other than a focus on business will include a motivational letter detailing their interest, experience and objectives for enrolling in this program. Applicants already holding a degree in Intercultural Management may not apply.

3. Entrance without a first academic degree:
Our master’s entrance program provides professionals and managers the opportunity to qualify for a master’s program without a first completed degree. If you have extensive years of experience in your field (at least 10 years with at least 6 years management responsibilities), you may demonstrate your qualificaions through our 6 month master’s entrance program. After completing the program examination, you may complete the Master of Arts in Intercultural Management.

English Proficiency
Your English proficiency must be fluent and you must be able to read and understand academic texts in English, as well as write fluently in English (level C1). The entire study program is in English.

Organisation

Die Europäische Fernhochschule Hamburg ist vom Bundesland Hamburg durch die Behörde für Wissenschaft, Forschung und Gleichstellung (BWFG) staatlich anerkannt. Damit ist die vollkommene Gleichwertigkeit unserer Studienabschlüsse mit Abschlüssen staatlicher Fachhochschulen garantiert.

Schon mehr als 9.000 Studienteilnehmer/innen haben sich an der Euro-FH in den internationalen, FIBAA-akkreditierten Studiengängen sowie den Zertifikatskursen mit Hochschulzertifikat eingeschrieben. Die Studiengänge der Euro-FH umfassen über 70 Bachelor- und Master-Studiengänge in den Bereichen Wirtschaft, Digitalisierung und Management, Psychologie sowie Gesellschaft, Bildung und Soziales. Die Studienleiter/innen, Tutor/innen und Autor/innen sind berufserfahrene Spezialist/innen. Die vermittelten Lerninhalte sind praxisorientiert und im beruflichen Alltag direkt anwendbar.

Die Euro-FH verfügt über Kontakte zu Wissenschaft, Politik, Wirtschaft und Verwaltung. Hierfür wurde eigens ein Kuratorium gegründet, das die Aufgabe hat, die Euro-FH in wissenschaftlichen und wirtschaftlichen Fragen zu beraten, ihre Zusammenarbeit mit Wissenschaft und Praxis aktiv zu fördern und die Repräsentation der Hochschule nach außen zu unterstützen. Dadurch wird sichergestellt, dass die Hochschule sich auch in Zukunft eng an den aktuellen Anforderungen der Praxis orientiert.
